She's lucky this cop ignored the policy that says if someone approaches him with his weapon drawn he is required to kill them.

No he is. I could see him going to jail for shooting her. He looks seriously stupid in that video.
Posted on 3/8/16 at 2:10 pm to SlowFlowPro
And some here still wonder why people might film a cop.

I see your point but, in fairness, he appears to have perjured himself multiple times.

For now.
It's only a matter of time before access to all speech is mandated, either for "safe keeping" or deletion.

On the one hand, it's going to really suck in the next 20 years when audio and video is embedded everywhere and very few places aren't covered but a small upside is that shite like this will be coming to an end.
I doubt the practice of police evidence rooms swallowing up and either 1)Losing the tapes 2)deleting the tapes 3)corrupting the tapes will end even with total surveillance.
Electromagnets and hard drives will never play well together.

I was thinking more along the lines of wearables and monitoring equipment embedded in things with the ability to upload into the cloud or something. Run a magnet over my balls all you want; it won't do you any good.
But I guess we may only have a 3-5 year golden era of that before the police have embedded jammers.

I have no idea why cops have to shoot dogs other than they know they cannot be sued for doing so and use it as a means to terrorize and control the population.
I am just thankful this has not happened to me, I like other posters here cannot sit by idle and let this happen to my fam.

Here is a cop who at the bare minimum needs a lecture and additional training.
If I were the chief of police I would highly question his metal to be an officer.

There are just some stupid cops in America. They are insecure douches that abuse their power. One in Tuscaloosa is being charged with rape. Idiot was going around harassing women in the malls and other stores, intimidating them to go out with him. He raped his gf and another chick and his abused and ex-wife. They had so much dirt on the guy that they didn't even try to cover it up.
Posted on 3/8/16 at 4:27 pm to SlowFlowPro
Wouldn't it be cool if we lived in a world where police had to answer for their own stupidity? It's a real shame nobody threw a beating on this guy. Cop or not, he needs to be slapped.

No wonder people dislike cops

hell yea
we all damn well know that video would have magically vanished had there been no password protection.

Yeah, I'd be very dead.
I can't even imagine how much I'd snap if someone pointlessly killed my dog in front of me.
Holy frick, I'd blackout. And then I'd be shot to death
