I was a Directv customer since the late 90s. Cancelled the service after trying out Directv Now.
1. Directv Now is an inferior product to Directv when it comes to features, navigation, interface and DVR.
2. I miss the channel numbers, which I got use to. Easy to type 206 on the remote and go to ESPN.
3. Recording shows and series on Directv Now can be wonky. Some series will not record.
4. No option to add an extension to live events you are recording.
5. Getting to the guide with the Fire remote takes a few extra steps. No button to just pull up the channel guide.
6. Can no longer rewind live TV. Have to record the show then you can.
7. Even though they offer my local channels, they give me locals from another city. I have opened two tickets and still have been waiting weeks for a resolution.
8. App gets flaky sometimes. I had to clear the cache for the directv Now app on my Fire TV the other day to get it to load.
All that said, I'm not going back to cable or Directv. I'm saving $70 a month, I have the same channels, and it is good enough. I have hope that they will improve the service and get it much closer to the original Directv. If not, I can try out other streaming services.

What's the most up to date add on for Kodi movies/tv? I feel like every 6 months I need to download a new one.
