Have you tried a little one hitter of weed in stead of the goddamn benzos? Benzo withdrawal can be fatal.
I'm prescribed xanax .5mg tid for my anxiety. I save one for bedtime. I'd love to use weed, but I get drug tested at work. It's really simple. Xanax is legal. Weed is not.

I always say the key to fixing self-diagnosed insomnia is smoke more weed, or less weed. Depending on current usage.

Only when I am stressed or do blow off an OT9.3 arse. So every other day.

Gotta keep that routine.
Saw someone mention diphenhydramine -,thought that was more or less generic Tylenol pm.
B/c when that stopped working, on to Benadryl (good fir a month or so)
If not cleared up by then, time to consider rx options which all f-ing suck
Anyways, good luck m8

I have since the first of the year. Once or twice a week. It's stress and anxiety.

All of these drugs you all are mentioning do not induce sleep, they induce unconsciousness. You don't get the sleep architecture that restores body and mind.

Tylenol PM works fine for me about 3 nights a week. I try to stay up until 10:30 but I get up at 5am 7 days a week anyway. I'm good with that as I like being up early but laying awake from 1-4 then getting up at 5 blows.
Make a bunch of money and pay off all your bills then sleep like a baby.

Nyquil dude
NyQuil has Tylenol and Benadryl in it. Benadryl is what makes you drowsy. You don't need the Tylenol unless you have a headache or fever. Just go buy some Benadryl.

I do, sporadically, but especially when stressed. During those stretches, it can last 2-3 months with me.
Alcohol helps fall asleep, but I'll pop up in about 3-4 hours wide awake. Same with Tylenol pm and NyQuil. Last night I took 4 Tylenol pm around 11:00. Woke right back up around 3;30 and haven't been able to fall back asleep yet.

This week has been the best dealing with it. My problem is once I have a hard time falling asleep, I get anxiety about not being able to, and then I'm fricked. I had a hard time Sunday night, but instead of laying in bed staring at the ceiling in the dark, I got up and went and watched some tv. Just decided I wasn't going to get upset. I ended up falling asleep around 1, so it wasn't terrible.
I know it's all in my head. I've started exercising again which has helped tremendously. I think it was built up stress from the previous two months that I hadn't had time to deal with. Nov starts a busy time for the family, got something every weekend thru Dec. Went on vacation, busy at work, then Christmas. Coupled with the fact that I was eating poorly and wasn't exercising, and it's taken its toll.
