Not for me. I have him #2 or #3, but my opinion is largely irrelevant.

Manning couldn't hold up Elway's fricking jock

In Tom's 1st two Superbowl seasons he had a 86.5 & 85.9 passer rating. It's amazing how people have rewritten history to make Tom more than what he is. Since New England has become an offensive team and Tom Brady has been the "guy" He is 1-2 in Superbowls and has a slightly above .500 playoff record.
It's okay for people to say the like Brady better for whatever reason, but in no realm of reality was he a better QB than Peyton in his prime.

It's an irrelevant stat. And after tonight, Manning's career playoff passer rating might drop BELOW Tom Brady's. Before the game Manning was sitting at 88.1 and Brady was sitting at 88.0. Manning scored a 56.6 rating this evening.

He may not be tGOAT Manning. Think about that.

You said players play better games in their 1st playoff games, then magically get worse and the QB ratings go from high to lower. There is no basis for that, unless you have a link to some numbers on it.

Peyton Manning has 5 MVPs. He was the best player of his generation and changed the way the position is played. He holds all the important records for his said position and as done it with multiple coaching staffs. 5 MVPs means he was almost the MVP for 1 out of every 3 season he was healthy.
How this is even a discussion is mind boggling.

Trent Dilfer road his defense to a Super Bowl championship in 2000. Peyton Manning did the same in 2015. I was simply replying to your insinuation that this accomplishment is somehow unique.

Alex Smith has a better playoff passer rating than Brady and Manning both. The same thing goes for Mark Sanchez. The stat is irrelevant.

I'd take Elway over Manning in any big game

He's doing a poor job of making his point but be does have a point. Sample sizes matters. If someone has only played in 3 playoff games one spectacular game or one terrible game could skew the ratings. If you play in 20+ playoff games then you're likely to get a more average looking outcome.

Insane Brady so much better

FWIW, the notion that your QB rating goes down the more games you play, there's no basis for it.
Just like Kershaw will probably have a better winning percentage after he gets a larger sample of playoff games, given his talent.
BUT regardless, rolltide is doing a poor job arguing.

But his idea that QBs play their best games first then gradually get worse, I'm pretty sure there's no actual basis for that, he just said his thought incorrectly.

Can't put him ahead of Montana and Brady.

So having his team's defense pretty much win the super bowl helps make him the goat?
Without Manning bringing the Broncos back when they were struggling against the Chargers in the regular season, they were in danger of missing the playoffs completely. Without Manning this team is most probably not playing in SB 50.
Edited: to correct mistake.

I'd take:
Unitas
Bradshaw
Elway
Montana
Young
Brady
Rogers
Brees
- over Manning in a big game. He was a gaudy stat machine in his prime, but never gave the impression he could elevate the team when they really needed it.
ETA: And Rothlisberger
(Manning is the Dan Marino of his era, but was fortunate enough to get a couple of SB wins - it is what it is.)

Peyton didn't even play against the Patriots in the regular season.

Without Manning bringing the Broncos from 14 points down against the Pats in the regular season

1 game for your life, and you're taking all those guys in their prime over a prime Manning?
Yikes
