I thought this was common knowledge. We researched them like a year or so ago for consideration as one of our main charities to support. After we saw how little of the money they take in actually goes to wounded vets, we passed.

If you are looking for a charity that supports injured veterans, consider Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
DAV.org
My grandfather (WWII Vet) was a life-long member of DAV and even served as a chapter president. Their DAV family events were a highlight of my childhood.
