I don't disagree. Going from Northside to Acadiana or STM would be preferable (for LSU), but that's not an option. IMG is an option.

I'm not approaching this from the standpoint of what is good for LSU, but I agree.
I just cannot imagine being a stud recruit and leaving your school heading into your senior year to go play in for an all-star team that has no chance of winning any sort of district or state title.
Some people will point to the facilities, training, etc., but we've seen players transfer there and fall precipitously in the rankings after their arrival. Some players have gotten fat and lazy - that tends to happen when you're under no pressure to actually get any semblance of an education and you're going to play 8-9 incredibly overmatched teams during the year.
I'm all for it when it gets a kid out of a bad situation, but some of these transfers are head scratchers.
I will say that Northside to IMG is much more understandable than U-High to IMG...
