We already have a ton of crap, so don't need a bunch of little odds and ends.
I'm mostly thinking a few kitchen things, like pots and maybe a few new knives.
Anything y'all found to be worthwhile?

We registered at REI. Only registry my husband actually enjoyed going with me to the store to scan items we wanted for it.

Suggesting a donation to your honeymoon fund is a popular suggestion on the OT.

Dad is paying for the honeymoon and I have plenty of tools.
We had talked about getting a fund to go towards a new king bed, but I know people (especially old folks) are queer for giving some specific item

Make sure you have a money dance and cash bar at the reception

Do a honeymoon contribution fund instead of a registry. It will go a lot further then some china you will never use.

Get you some good pots and a cast iron skillet.

A high quality mandolin. A Ninja blender... worth everything when experimenting with sauces, dips and shite. All manner of good containers with lids. Durable tea kettle. Waffle maker (not just for waffles anymore).

Could you register for dishes and other inexpensive household crap that you don't really need at a department store that also sells furniture, then return the stuff and use the credit for a mattress? Not the most honest thing, but a lot of people do it. Dillard's used to sell furniture, and I think Macy's does too.
