Was that written by a Marine who happens to be a tatted and roided up guy from a small town who drives a lifted entry level Tundra and now works a blue collar job?

Hey, you Obama fricks. Are you people that ignorant of history? fricking learn what The Marine's have given up for this country.
I will tell you this, if war were to truly breakout in our country you will damn well want a Marine in your foxhole and you will be calling him Sir. Simply because you now will know what being a Marine is about.

My cousin has his USMC sticker in the back window of his truck right next to his Deadhead sticker.

Army are the only branch referred to as soldiers. But USAF are troops. Much fail with customs and curtesies.

Doubt it is a true Marine - not in crayon and the words are spelled correctly.

Coming out of boot you feel invincible (one of its purposes) but it wears off pretty quick for most.

There's good natured ribbing among Marines on which boot camp you attended, San Diego "Hollywood Marines" or Parris Island "Sand Fleas." Years later the first question when meeting a fellow Marine usually is "where'd you go to boot?" No doubt USMC vets are a special fraternity of brothers for life.

Young men and women vets I've meet from all branches who've served since 9/11 are better educated, better trained, "squared away" and just as motivated as any that came before. I have great respect for all of them in any branch of the military.

frick with a Marine's combat Navy Corpsman medic and you'll find out real quick what we think of the Navy.

Semper Fidelis, Gentleman.

You can be proud of a great achievement without being so obnoxious about it.

It tends to make it seem petty and trivial when you try to use it like a hammer when the merits of it speaks for itself.
