I heard Bonine on WWL radio Wed night and he indicated no action had been taken to date on the Bogalusa players, and that a "sportsmanship" hearing would be held in the next few weeks to determine the penalties to the Bogalusa players.

To me this is unacceptable. If the penalty for leaving the bench area is suspension for the next game, then no hearing is needed and the suspensions should have been issued for the first regular season game for Bogalusa next year.

What about seniors? I guess they just get away with it?

Not likely. The sportsmanship hearing could effect the eligibility of seniors in other sports as well. So a player involved in the fight that plays baseball could be ineligible for baseball season this year. The coach will also be suspended for several games as well in addition to not being able to compete in playoffs, ect.
