Pay the fine and buy a dashcam for less than $100 so next time these things aren't just your word against another's.

Maybe that's what I was thinking of.

I'm pretty sure the police officer's word still holds more weight in court than your illegal surveillance of the traffic stop. But nice try magnum.

Then why do the signs clearly say STOP, instead of SLOW DOWN ENOUGH TO SEE IF ITS CLEAR aka YIELD?
Because you're supposed to actually stop.
ETA In continuing to read the thread I see this has been addressed.

"Rolling stop" tickets are total bullshite. It's the exact same ticket as though you had blown through the stop sign without noticing or caring.
The intent of the driver is not to run the stop sign. The driver comes to a sufficient stop. You know it, the cop knows it. The difference between a complete stop and a rolling stop is nothing more than a technicality.
Sure, it's the law, and I obey it. But just because something is a law doesn't mean it needs to be rigidly enforced by playing "gotcha!" with drivers. Which is what this is.
I've heard people complain about speeders, tailgaters, drunk drivers, hit and runs, even people who don't have their cars re-registered from another state. But not once in my life have I ever heard an uninvolved human being complain about a lack of enforcement on rolling stops. This is not a high priority for public safety or law enforcement. Yet, here's your ticket for it.
A total waste of law enforcement resources, and an otherwise law-abiding citizen's time.

Tell them you stopped at the sign and then creeped up to see if the "coast was clear". That intersection is blind.

Received a ticket in my subdivision for same bullshite, deputy told me that he was in fact full filling a ticket quota
Posted on 12/1/15 at 9:54 am to I APOLLO I
Call an attorney, you will still have to pay the ticket but they will have it changed so it does not affect your insurance.
Posted on 12/1/15 at 9:54 am to I APOLLO I
Fight every ticket you ever get.

Probably cuz you're sitting around on Tax Payer's Dime in a Winn Dixie Parking lot making stat threads on the Rant.
Justttt messing. Love those threads. Tax $$ well spent.

He's got a video. Pay the ticket or you'll have to pay $200 court costs.

Subpoena is dash cam video. If he cant provide it, which conveniently he will not have it, then where is the proof?
