$300 a month for a 2 BR townhouse on Starboard. Gardere wasn't bad back then. I paid 1/2 of that.
Then I moved to a 1 BR in Tigerland for $250/month. Again, Tigerland wasn't bad like it is now.

I lived in a 4 bedroom in University House, and had a two groups of friends who did also. None of them had a master bedroom

I paid half of $375 for a 2/2 in Lake Charles.
Wish I still lived there. I now pay half of 1690 in New Orleans for a slightly worse 2/2.
College apartment has actual ceramics as opposed to laminate, that's about the only difference.

Late 1990's, 4 acres on the vermillion river in laffy (owner cut the grass), 3600 sf, game room, pool table, 16' wet bar, whirlitzer jukebox and furnished for $425 a month. It was 70's out, but worked for me.
