I still believe Miles makes him run a vanilla offense if the quarterback isn't ready
And whose job is it to get the QB ready?
Look around at how many schools are playing and winning with freshmen at QB. Why is it that none of our QBs under Cam seem to be able to grasp his offense within a couple of years.
It seems his passing scheme is just too complicated for college and doesn't translate well for young QBs. Also, why do we have such a hard time creating space for our receivers? They only seem to be wide open when they have simply outrun the DB on a fly or post pattern.

Cam does not have a great history of winning. You can call his system or scheme what you want, but he has not been successful at winning games in his career. He's done a far better job as a coordinator, but that's not saying much for a guy who has never had a winning record or even a .500 record as a head coach.
It is hard to deny the curse of 2008 that is still haunting the offense though.
