Miss State knocking off Bama not as far fetched as you might think

When you look at all the loses Alabama has had recently, you'll notice a trend(with 1 outlier)
2010-LSU Jordan Jefferson
2011-LSU. Jordan Jefferson comes off the bench to provide a spark. His mobility allowed him to extend plays and drives
2012-Texas A&M- Johnny Manziel. Mobile quarterback and playmaker. His feet led to big plays against Bama
2013-Auburn. Nick Marhsal only had 97 yards passing but also had 99 yards rushing, keeping drives alive and giving Bama defense fits.
2014-Ole Miss Bo Wallace. The outlier
2014-Ohio State spread attack with a QB that could extend plays with his mobility.
2015. Ole Miss. Swag Kelly. Was able to use his mobility to extend plays and extend drives by way of scrambling and his receivers being able to get open
Also, Tennesee. Although their QB only had 21 yards rushing, he had 16 attempts, keeping Bama honest on zone reads, helping his Rb get 92 yards at 5.1 yards a carry.
Dak Prescott is a big time playmaker at MSU and Mullen has full confidence and trust in his QB to make the right decisions with the ball. Dak has scrambling ability and Mullen runs the style of offense that has given Bama fits. Mullen is an offensive genius they Bulldawgs have the type of team that can play with Bama in an offensive shoutout.
Dak has thrown for 18 TD's and only 1 INT this year. He makes smart decisions with the ball. He adds another 420 yards rushing and 7 more TD's. In fact, Dak is MSU's leading rusher.
Bama isn't just gonna go into Starksville and roll their helmets on the field and the Bulldawgs lay down. They are going to be in for a fight. The Bulldawgs have the ability and the scheme to pull off this upset.
So, this week, we are all Bulldawg fans.

I would love for this to happen. Our O-line is so bad, though as far as coverages.

We'll regain the west lead for 4 hours then lose to Arky.

Smart people know this.

whatever makes you happy I guess...

They are certainly better suited to than us with play calling

Hard to get up two weeks in a row...the road is dangerous in the SEC.

This game is at home for State and they have an extra two days of rest coming off the Thursday game with Missouri. The fact that State doesn't have a bellcow back may actually be a benefit to them in this game.
In the end, we can only control what we can control. Arkansas is gaining steam and we have to stay focused on the task at hand.

LSU hangover gets Bama.

I just don't see this. Bama smells blood in the water. Only hope I see is Auburn pulling the upset because of the intensity of the rivalry.

Oh, the irony. Pinning our playoff hopes on a QB our "genius" coach recruited as a safety.
Gotta love it.

They struggle against the spread. You forgot the Oklahoma game

TE, but that would be quibbling.

Not likely but possible.

Especially since their offensive scheme and play calling will be so much better

They went to Athens and College Station back to back weekends and skull-dragged them both. They are not concerned about Starkville.

Right after LSU beat Miss State earlier this season, I predicted that Miss State would beat Alabama this season.

No, Bama will curb stomp MSU, and here is why:
LSU, with a similar offensive approach as Bama, should have beaten MSU by 21+ points.
LSU had nearly 250+ yards of offense called back, along with two TDs due to the good ole SEC calling holding. LSU goes up 14-0, (should have been 21 then 28) and had to hold on due to all of their big plays being called back.
That officiating crew nearly gave MSU the game. Good thing their kicker missed.
Alabama, unlike LSU, WILL NOT GET CALLED for all of those holding penalties, and all of their yards and TDs will count.
Bama will blow out MSU in Starkville.

We have a defense better suited to stop MSU than Bama does. Our defense features smaller linebackers that can run and play in space. Bama is built more to stop power rushing attacks and not spreads. Look at who they have lost to recently. All spread teams or teams with a mobile QB. That gives Bama fits!!
