What exactly do you need a "Water Resistant" dive watch for at a depth of 3281 ft?

I like to go deep!
Never paid attention to it's depth rating prior to purchase. I've just always preferred dive watches.

Wearing:
Early 1970's Rolex Submariner Dateless with refurbed bracelet and crystal. All original otherwise. Lee Michaels trys to convince me to rebuild it every time I go in but I like the worn look.

Jewelers. Direct from watch companies online. There are some forums online that have a good communities for trading and used selling like watchuseek but you have to know what you are looking at and be careful of scammers. There are various online dealers.
You generally aren't going to find anything too special at Dillard's, and there probably better prices out there too.
That IWC watch is very high end. Beautiful watch, but you would have to be willing to spend some real coin.

I've posted this watch before, but I cant wait for it to get here. I backed it on Kickstarter and should receive this spring.

I wouldn't go that far. It's a very nice watch but very high end is reserved for the Patek's, Lange's, Hublot's and AP's of the world.

It's all relative. My guess is that is like a $6k watch. That's very high end when you were just looking at digital watches that are priced around $100.
