What restaurant makes the best fresh pasta in NOLA?

Domenica or Dan Esses at Three Muses

I don't know about the "best", but Pizza Delicious actually does a really good job with their daily special dishes.

Oak Oven
Mariza makes some good pasta.
Still need to try something besides pizza and cauliflower at Domenica.

They do and Ancora has some good stuff as well.

So in sum, there are a lot of spots putting out fresh pasta and with excellent results.

Absolutely.
And Ancora's gnocchi is absolutely amazing.

They harvest their own egg yolks from their own chickens for the pasta.

I would say yes. Count in Kin and Noodle and Pie on the Asian side as well.

Is Noodle and Pie making their own noodles?
Posted on 10/22/15 at 1:49 pm to Y.A. Tittle
I think so. Not 100% on that.

I have not, but I want to try them and Red's Chinese.

Maybe Italian Barrel? They had some last time we were there.

Red's Chinese has gotten very good, as of late. I live nearby (nah - not a hipster) and went there about 2 weeks after it opened. Was bad - so damn spicy hot it was almost inedible (and, I typically like spicy foods). Waited 2 months and gave it another chance. have been there about 5 times since, and its good. But, if your dining in (I usually do take-out) its typically hot inside of the place, and the wait staff is very hipsterish.

Doesn't bother me at all. Just seems like an interesting take on Sino-American food.
