This is silly.
The group's request to exclude only that week's opponent is childish.
That the restaurant would go along with it is asking for trouble.
If the group is so valuable, fine, close the restaurant to ALL other patrons and that makes sense.
But to close it only to the (unsuspecting) guest who is that week's opponent is rude, unreasonable and unnecessary.
It appears that the idea is to embarrass the fans of the opposing team who show up, not knowing of the ban. It's obnoxious.
Close the who restaurant to all other members of the public if the Gator Group is so valuable.
