If I'm hinch, I don't use a single Fricking bullpen guy. I use fires kazmir and keuchel. All starters.

Thanks baw. At least you have the chance to wear Price down here, at the least.

I haven't read this whole thread, so someone may have already said it, but this feels like the time Pujols hit the moonshot off of Lidge to force the series back to St. Louis. I was sure then that the Astros were done, but they proved me wrong. Hopefully, history is about to repeat itself. And in the state of Missouri, no less.

I said it. Just need a good outing by Jabroni.

My optimism is at an all time high. We will crush cueto.

What an amazing game, amazing crowd....
Until, obviously l, the 8th inning. How many times have you heard it? "Baseball is a funny game." In 45 minutes, the world can just collapse.
Cueto has been struggling. Astros hit him pretty well last outing.
Gotta get past this and move on. The good news is there's 1 more game. Jabroni has been pitching well. Why no confidence? We expect at least 1 bullpen meltdown. That was it. Time to move on.

True, the pen is just thin. It sucks.
I hope we see Fiers and Kid if relief is needed.

Don't pitch Kuechel.
Save him for Game 1

But he can give you 20 pitches on a bullpen day.

I'd use Keuchel in a heartbeat if it's close. Nothing to save him for if we lose.

Damn that stung. Credit to the Royals. For as douchey as their pitchers are for retaliating, their entire lineup were consummate professionals at the plate. Yes, they got lucky, and maybe the huge deficit took some pressure off, but they methodically destroyed our pen. It was something to see.

Yep. The thought process should be to warm Fiers up relatively early in the game so he can be comfortable if needed.
If you get to the 8th inning with the lead, use Dallas to bridge the gap to Luke. Especially if you're talking about the heart of their order with the lefty bats.

I am confident we will score some runs. Jabroni needs to get through the first couple innings unscathed and get through 7. With Dallas available I feel like we can peace meal the last couple innings

Yeah, Sipp and Greg are the two in the pen you can trust. Hinch will look use Perez in a spot, too. But Fiers and Kid need to be ready.

Tell you one thing. I'm about sick of reading douchebags here and TCB just reaching so far to find someone to blame for this game. Like blaming Luhnow again for not making trades at the deadline. Give me a fricking break.
We are pushing the defending AL Champs, with the best record in the AL, to the brink. Game 5 in 2 days. How about some blame on Correa for not playing that ball like he supposed to? No, can't do that! Yes, he had a great day at the plate....but that play was probably just as big as any of his plate appearances. ...and he didn't take care of what he was supposed to do. Can't tell me that error is cancelled out by his ABs today.
Yes, Harris was bad, but some blame falls upon Correa for not making that play to be up 2 with 2 outs and just 1 runner on the bags instead of losing the lead
