Next man up. If Dupre and Dural want to pout about not getting the ball but drop it non stop when they get chances, I'm sure the guys behind them would love to step in and make the most of their opportunities.

I love LSU but I always kind of thought the same thing as far as WR's go. Never said it out loud but makes sense..
yeah, because LSU never puts our under-used WR's into the NFL, many times as high draft choices, right? They knew that LSU is a run first team. I'm sure the coaches want to throw the ball more, but these guys are making it hard to do so when the continue to drop balls, run wrong routes, give up on plays, etc....when you can just hand off to LF and get around 7 or 8 yards a play (on a bad day). Sounds like to me all the stardom has worn off with these kids and they don't like it.....common sense would tell you they would go out to prove their worth...instead of sulking....we shall see what path they choose.

Someone, either a family member like you or a player, is a jealous cancer and it's starting to show.

Seems like a very selfish comment on his part in the middle of the season. The passive nature in which he and dural play with may have something to do with them not getting the ball
Yep. Honestly both very talented. But you know what....the stars were great for recruiting...but it stops there. Now you have to perform.....it's about productivity....and just because you may not have 15 catches a game....the scouts don't care...they realize what type of offense you are in. What matters is what you do with the opportunities that you do get.
If this is truly their attitudes (and judging by performance, effort, and the quotes we have seen), and they aren't willing to go out and play all out....then I honestly don't care if they ever see the field again. I'd rather have Johnson, Quinn, Diarse, and Chark out there going all out.

Until these WRs start fighting for the ball and catching passes in their zone then there is no way with a lead we pass. Dural quits on routes and gets pushed away by DBs. He needs to learn to fight and hold on to passes. I don't quite understand why Trey is not thrown to more. He has 1 catch and he has great hands.

THIS........ME ME ME ME ME.....I'm a FIVE STAR DAMMIT......Can't stand that type of attitude, and it's a poor role model for the kids, and you are correct, a cancer on the team, if in fact true. Also, it's the type of entitled attitude that just about guarantees you will never be successful in anything you do in life. One thing I know about Les Miles....love him or hate him...he won't put up with it long......one way or the other.

What an overblown fricking quote. He was directly asked about a team (in general) that runs 75% of the time recruiting. He answered it straight forward and honestly. This was in the middle of him being very critical of himself and the receivers. Dumbasses, all of you.

Auburn and their offensive "mastermind" couldn't give their all world 5* WRs catches and now have kicked him off the team...
When did this happen?

Dupre obviously came to LSU because of the recent (15 years) success of LSU WRs in the NFL.
But, make no mistake about it, success is what you (Dupre) make it.

I understand what your saying and I agree to a point but man wouldn't it have been better to just not say anything? If you feel like you have to say something why even throw the recruiting part out there? Does MD realize that if we didn't give the ball to LF 75% of the time we may have lost 2 games? To me a team player would have said something like "yea I would love to be getting more opportunities but we 4-0 and that is all I am focused on". The most concerning part is this is the kind of shite that separates a locker room. I am not saying it has or will but things like this have created a separation with teams before. Bottom line is do you want to win or do you want to lead the team in catches? It is as simple as that.

I absolutely would sit him, until he got rid of his ME mentality. No questions asked.

Why would it be better? Because in hindsight he's supposed to know that a bunch of retards would take it out of context for 2 days then move on to the next story? 90% of his interview yesterday was about how bad the WRs played and in the middle of it all he gets a recruiting question because an AP reporter already has 90% of his story written and just needs to fill it with random player quotes. He leads the question so he can get exactly what he wants... A player saying it would be tough. Which is 100% true. You know it. I know it. Yet people show this faux outrage because, well, they like to show their stupidity.

Once again, a player comes out and voices displeasure and the rant attacks him...I guess it's ok to attack players when they're being critical...but not ok to attack them when they stink it up.

Would be nice to provide some context OP
Hey OP, you have yet to address this. Instead of bashing one of the players on this team, did you think that maybe the reporter may have asked the question in such a way to generate a response like this?
Notice how the reporter does not state what it is he is saying that in response to, so that it appears dupre stated this unprompted.
It sucks to watch our passing game suck dik, but I am sure they are just as frustrated as we are.
