Who cares if anything has changed if it works?

I feel like the biggest change in 30 years is the evolution of the running quarterback.

Style has changed but fundamentals will never change

You still have to block, tackle and control the line of scrimmage.

Oregon offense win an National title? Nope
TCU nope, haven't even been in the title game
Baylor? Nope...yet the score 65 a game

OSU yep won a title
Bama yep
LSU yep
Auburn with Cam yep
Florida had a decent run game with Tebow
FSU had a balanced team

These teams had great defenses as well

The point is, fundamentals always trump "trends"

If you have the jimmy's and Joes to run and block...this usually brings more wins than does the Texas Tech offenses of college football

Frankly, watching LF and LSU this year is way more exciting than watching Tech and TCU score over 100 points.

But I'm an LSU fan
