I rather ole miss lose and that will help us in the standings in the western conference and 2:30 cbs will be more national exposure for us since everybody will be watching what is fournette gonna do. I love night games but i hate ole miss and would mean we would be in a first place tie with Texas am and I hope miss state beats them. We beat Florida the last 2 times at home on cbs and this would be a third. Either way it's a win win situation with ole miss losing or a night game in Death Valley.

Id like the Florida game to be at 2:30 for selfish reasons.

Or in other words, Joe lied when he said they contractually only have to move 1 game for cbs
I see this thrown around on here but don't recall Alleva saying this.

What's the purpose of talking to the commish? To save face? It's pointless given the TV contracts.
Maybe to try to get a feel as to what the networks' plans are?

yes--and LSU uniforms look better in the day.

That just says SEC rules state they have to be in the 2:30 slot once a year. It doesn't say anything about LSU being able to refuse a 2;30 kick if one has already occurred.

I'd rather Ole Miss lose to UF than have a night game against UF.

How do people STILL not understand the tv deal?

CBS wants to make money
LSU/A&M will be an early kick off too. No way CBS picks the iron bowl over that game this year
Get used to it

A quick reminder that playing a day game at home in September is not something we choose to do; unfortunately, we are bound by the Southeastern Conference to move at least one game a year to the 2:30 p.m. time slot, if requested by CBS. As you know, all seven of our home games last season were played at night, and we expect that day games in Death Valley will continue to occur on an infrequent basis.

meaning there could be more than one bro.

Technically, that's wrong too
Not all SEC schools are required to play on CBS

@DellengerAdv: Alleva says he spoke to #SEC commish Sankey about keeping #LSU-UF at night, but will probably be CBS day game if Florida is undefeated.
Good.
LSU doesn't lose at home during the day. We lose at night on the reg.

@DellengerAdv: Basically, #LSU fans, you need to be cheering for Ole Miss to beat Florida this weekend. Could secure LSU-UF as a night game.
lol what a fricking retard

I know that, just referencing what he posted

The "omg we need to play all of our games at night!!!!1" outcry is so stupid to me.
I like when we get put on CBS because it means we're fricking good. And news flash, we do a lot better at home during the day than we do at night recently.
