This is why preseason rankings frick things up for 8 or 9 weeks. If they waited until after week 5 to rank, it wouldn't be nearly this bad for so long into the season.

Is even a bigger joke. Especially since Northwestern beat the team that beat USC. Bama being ranked ahead of some undefeated teams is also a joke.
