We can't take this for granted

We need to take advantage of the situation we are in as LSU fans. No matter what happened game 1, after this past weekend it's obvious we have a really really good team. We've moved into many playoff lists, and seem to be one of the 10-12 teams that will really compete for a national championship this year.
South Carolina looks like a disappointment. We have Florida at home in what will almost certainly be a night game (Ala v. A&M that weekend). Our schedule sets up perfectly for us to get not only some easy, developmental wins, but also some good SEC victories (@USC, Fla) before we head to Bama. Throughout these next 6 weeks you'll see LSU in everyone's playoff hunt, setting up for a monumental November. And all these young guys including Harris will only continue to improve.
Our schedule also sets up perfectly for Fournette's Heisman campaign. Several cupcakes to add quality stats, yet not battering him down. Assuming he puts up pretty good numbers (120+ 2TD's) against SC on the road and a good Florida defense, he will continue to be everyone's Heisman frontrunner for the next six weeks. Did anyone watch SportsCenter this morning? LSU and Leonard were all over the place. This time is huge for our program, and it's setting up to be an extremely fun 7 games at least. If we continue to improve at the QB position and our D isn't fooling us, we could be very successful in November. All I'm saying is take advantage, this could be a special one.

So ALL of that this year mixed with the fact that we have Fournette another year, Guice/Williams another 2 years, receivers all over the place, Harris for what definitely could be another two years, DBU, Coach O recruiting the hell out of the DL, creative new defensive schemes - LSU is relevant again. When you watch this team vs last year's team it's like night and day. We were not relevant last year. These next three year's we will consistently be one of those teams in the top 8-10, always in the playoff hunt.
shite, then if you want to throw basketball in the equation - we're about to have a 2 day pro combine on campus, what the hell has gotten into us?
These are good days to be Tiger fans, savor it.

Why would you say Williams will be here another two years? He could very well leave after his junior year.

Are you saying I can't take this for granted? I'm not really sure what I can do about it.
Or are you referring to the actual football who can't take this for granted?

He very well could go pro after his junior year. Damn, guess we'll be screwed with only Guice Brossette and White. 8-5 here we come.

Miss. St is not chopped liver; besides, look at the #1 team, Ohio St., they have underachieved, we are still sorting out the top teams and the pretenders. Going into the Auburn game, their run defense was stout, yet we sliced it up. We will be ready for anyone after the next few games...
