What "up tempo" schools have won NCs the past decade? Defense is the foundation of true winning in football and dominate pitching in baseball.

Ohio St. & Auburn say hello.

The fact that some of you find LSU's offensive philosophy "acceptable" is laughable.

i find a run first philosophy acceptable.. however i find the lack of a competent passing game completely unacceptable...not asking for 450 passing yards and 6 TDs a game, but a guy who could pass for 225, 1.5 TDs/game, and limit the turnovers would be amazing... just enough to keep the SS out of the box on first and second down.

didn't we JUST have a 3000 yd passer, 2 1000 yd receivers, and 1000 yd rusher in the same season for the first time in SEC history?

you are the one that's a joke. there is absolutely nothing wrong with LSU's offensive philosophy. the problem is that we can't find a QB to execute it. just think what we would be if there were a Tommy Hodson under the helm.

the high schools are screwing up the QB pool. sure, maybe one day we should give up and just put in the spread system with a system QB. if it happens you will know that the knowledgable QB is dead.
