2015 Camaro and Mustang opinions...

I am looking to purchase a convertible muscle car. I know either way I go, it will be with the v8 option and a six speed, go big or go home, right? I have been doing a ton of research over the weekend and both cars seem to have their pros and cons: mustang looks to have a better interior, and 2015 is the first year of the redesigned model; so it won't be redesigned for some time. The Camaro looks to be more fun to drive from the reviews I've seen but will be totally redesigned in 2016. The 2016 will be available in the last quarter of the year, so I may just wait. Both run 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 13 flat. I'm not going to be racing it, mostly just weekend warrior rides along the lake roads and taking the wife out for dinner.
What do you think?

At least wait on the new camaro.
Vert Mustang looks pretty nice IMO. I'm not a fan of either of their interiors though.

Isn't the Camaro only for "Vette" wannabes ?

Camaro>>>mustang
I know there are fans of each side of that..but personally, I couldn't imagine choosing a new mustang over a new camaro.

For what you're doing, my personal opinion would be for the Mustang. I like the interior in the Fords a bit better.
That said, the GM 6,2 is the best gas engine on the planet. If you were going all-in on performance, that would be the one.
Your call...

What does SLK 55 offer that mustang does not? Besides the Benz logo, Srs

The LS platform is a proven performance beast and is also proven to be durable

I'm driving a 2015 Camaro SS convertible right now while we're in Key West(rental) and I don't like it.
The seats are uncomfortable, and when the top is up you can't see a fricking thing. And it's pretty ugly looking.

Hellcat right now.
If you're waiting on the 16 Camaro then you're wasting time on wrong model. I'd be waiting on the 16 Shelby GT500 snake. 5.8 Dual turbos on independent rear suspension. It won't catch the Hellcat but damn sure won't be the same camaro built cruiser.
If you just have to have the 6.2 GM then go with it in the CTS and get luxury instead of cheap plastic interior.

We're in the market as well... Haven't looked at he Camero because the wife doesn't like it so we're between the challenger and the mustang. For the price they're asking for a 5.0, the interior of the ford felt extremely cheap.

Definitely something to consider. I have a 15 Camaro and I love driving it, but hate the blind spots. So much so that I'll likely get rid of it soon and either go back with a truck or the Chevelle.
