no runs were scored until the 7th which is late in a game, so technically that definition works.
1 in the 7th, 4 in the 8th, and 1 in the 9th with no runs scored in the first 6 would constitute a late rally. love how yall are trying to spin the head line into saying yall were down, or that yall had to come from behind. I guess you can twist it to mean anything you want it to mean.
a late rally did lead LSU past the cajuns in the super regional. it definitely wasnt an early rally.

What's you explanation for flipping the box score?

This is the same sports department that stated that ULL will play in a baseball tournament next year, "the same tournament that LSU just played in and was won by Texas A&M."
LSU went 3-0 in that tournament.
What a bunch of losers at the Advertiser.

No it doesn't! I am not sure of the baseball lingo in Lafayette but when the game is tied 0-0 and a team yanks one yard the rest of the world calls that taking the lead. Once you are in the lead and never lose it it is called in control

In baseball it is defined as multiple runs. 1 run was scored, then 4 the following inning while we were in the lead. Late domination might have been a better way to word it. And flipping the box score is pathetic in the worst way. If you look at the scoring summary it even lists the runs like ULL tied it up before the 4 runs from LSU.

You can't move past something you're already ahead of. Unless we lapped you.
