Jesus and the Christ Consciousness he represented and was a metaphor for nothing but pure motives, but the Jesus of the Christian religion and how he has been used as a wedge in humanity can suck it. I think Jesus was a noble figure in human history but religion is a poison that needs to go the way of the dinosaur. The deeper spirituality behind all religions is noble but religious dross that clouds the true issue of humanity needs to go away. If you use religion and spirituality to give you perspective, that is a good thing. If it is used to make you feel better about yourself at the expense of another, that is a totally different matter.
