The books are big time boring right now so they have to do something about it.

I just don't get this. The amount of history and plotting in AFFC and ADWD is epic and anything but boring.

Blame GRRM for being a lazy fatass since ASoS came out.

What exactly has Littlefinger taught Sansa? There have only been a few scenes since he killed her aunt.

A lot of it does, people have been saying this shouldn't happen as soon as they started with this Bolton/Sansa story line and no one knows if it will have a point or not yet to a wider plot line because the entire story line isn't in the books with Sansa. It's SJW outrage at it's finest.
I think the reason people are complaining about it is because the show has had some unnecessary rape scenes in the past, Jaime and Cersei being the one that got the most criticism. The SJWs are the show producers, who seem to want to insert the "rape culture" narrative into the show, so every time this happens (and it's happened a lot), people bitch about it.

No one complained when the Bolton men wanted to rape Brienne, because it was in the books and had a point. Drogo raping Dany, Jaime raping Cersei and especially Ramsay raping Sansa were not in the books, so it looks like a running agenda.

If someone tries to rape the Sand Lesbians, I fricking quit.

Technically, Sansa and Dany didn't get raped. That's just how shite went down.

It's hard to say what it means yet or if it has a point, since it's the last thing we saw in the most recent episode.

What I meant is that the show seriously exaggerated Dany's wedding night and Sansa's never happened. I agree that we don't yet know what it means and I'm not put off by it, but the show really does seem to have a fixation for it.

There are too many storylines that just feel like filler when they are on the screen.

Try reading book 7. Martin is losing it with all the minor characters. The people adapting this mess have their hands full trying to make it into a TV series that makes any kind of sense.

ETA: I meant to say book 5, it just feels like book 7.

Maybe I am being overly critical.

I´m not really enjoying it, and thought maybe it was due to my not keeping them tight chronologically (and forgetting many previous events, etc., as I can go a long time between episodes).

It does seem to be a quick scan of all that´s going on, primarily to remind you various someones indeed still exist (and not much more, as not much happens).

Rape made a lot more sense in Dany's case. The book version seemed silly.

This. The Hound was a much better teacher to Arya than LF has been to Sansa.

I never once heard Sansa say no...and she got married to the guy. Of course he is going to consummate the marriage.

In all seriousness what I just said is factual, although they absolutely made it out to be rape in the show

Also, I think a crapton of awesome stuff happened in the last show. Big events that are going to change the complexion of the series

That show has been known for crazy shocking sex and deaths. Of course it's going to have more of the same. That's like saying Walking Dead shouldn't have random zombie killing that doesn't progess the plot.

Arya is a much better student than Sansa and was much tougher to begin with.

Man they've been talking about how 'Winter is Coming' since Season 1.

Yeah. I even seem to remember some talk about the white ravens being sent from the Citadel but can't remember if they've sent them or not.

It's definitely toned down from what he does to Jeyne in the book.

The disquiet is real, though. The show going to shite is all the rage these days. It was fun while it lasted and I'll still line up for book 6, but the show is becoming one huge Mongolian clusterfrick.

I take a pleasure in the chaotic story. I like that there are so many characters and storylines going all at once. Makes it real, and provides some sense of scale. We're talking about a whole world filled with nobles and powerful people who all have their own goals and ideas.

Agreed. There are so many characters, that I can't tell who I'm suppose to root for; which makes for very unpredictable story lines.

It really is depressing seeing the absolute drop off in quality of story and delivery.
characters I've cared about for more years than I want to admit just don't hold my attn anymore.

The actors seem to have lost something.

The whole show has Greyscale, and it's advancing at a geometric rate! :)
