I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I agreed to help the Blood Baron in the swamps, then he just leaves me, saying goodbye.
He did the same to me and I was equally confused.
You should still have a quest in your log though and you just have to meet him there.

I feel like their are no good outcomes in this game...just less bad. This game is depressing.

You know what is really fun...Gwent. If there was an award for best mini-game this would win the award.
Not only that, but winning a special card from someone is really rewarding and addicting.

I decided to knock out some of the Gwent side quests the other night and I was fricking hooked. My deck is super OP now.

I wouldn't say mine is super OP, but I rarely lose now. Hopefully I find some better players.

Yeah the quests really improve your deck, because you get a ton of hero cards from it.
I would suggest if/when you run in to Lambert, another Witcher, for a side quest try to play him in Gwent.
I have one gwent quest left and he is apparently back at Kaer Morhen...

Have not played Gwent yet actually. Still tooling around in Velon.

I thought the same till I played Sigi took me three or four times to beat him. Once I got Ciri from that elf I think I'm ready to play in the tourney.

Damn I didn't know that. We didn't end on good terms.

On here and on Reddit I keep seeing people talking about how great Gwent is and I can't get into it. I played it once in White Haven and truly was bored with it. I guess I'm in the minority.

Just read that the bug that has me frozen at the moment and for the past few days won't be fixed until the next patch. FML.

I would suggest trying it more than once and outside of white haven

Just finished "Wander in the Dark," or whatever it's called, great little dungeon quest. Tons of good loot, too.

Anyone else wondering if Ciri's carpet matches the curtains? (I worry about important things)

Anyone fight the katakan in the "Now or Never" Triss mission? I can't beat this son of a bitch. Every time I attack him, he regenerates 120 health every second.

Use the moon dust or dimetrium bomb one of those should stop regen

Thank you. Now I have to retrace my steps and get out of the damn sewers.

Did this last night. I don't remember it being that difficult. I've fought a vampire before I just laid down Yrden debuff that I think brings it out of that regen/invis state and mashed away at X, went down pretty quick. I also dropped the Yrden alt which also attacks enemies in range.
Another topic [WITH SPOILERS] that I'd like an answer to:
So I'm about to head to Skellige, I'm pretty much done with Novigrad. In order to get to Whoreson I had to help Radovid, who is basically our sworn enemy correct? Or at least that's the way the game has gone for me from the beginning it seems. It has always seemed that even though Nilfgaardians, even though they are assholes ( everyone is right?) but the game seems to be siding with them so far. I mean, they aren't trying to actively annihilate all odd peoples like some kinda Nazi (like Redania is).
So why are we thrown in to working for Radovid, who is a huge a-hole that I'd like to kill. It just doesn't make much sense to me. The questline had me going to help the witch hunters as well, but somehow Geralt is okay with this?
It's just really confusing when questlines get interwined like this. I think it makes it all that more important to listen to the story as it's unfolding and pay attention or else you might make the wrong choice.
[end spoilers]
This also brings up another topic for me. Do any of y'all party chat when you're playing games like this?
I've found that I can't handle it, not when I'm trying to immerse in the story. When I'm out exploring it's fine sometimes.

That sounds like an annoying experience.
