I'm not for the death penalty but, if it has to be done, this guy certainly deserves it!

Sooooooo... If the SEALS would have taken Bin Laden alive...You'd be against putting him to death?

I don't think the death penalty should be used for anyone. My position is quite clear.

You think any of them should be shown sympathy and waste tax payer dollars to house for the rest of their natural lives?

I'm with you on most of your things in this topic but it is actually cheaper to house them for the rest of their life than it is to kill them.

Albeit, I am not sure if that gap closes much as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is relatively young (assuming he lived a long and healthy life).

I did not know this. Too bad we don't use firing squads. Bullets are cheap and easy to find...unless you are looking for .22. Can't find them anywhere these days.

It isn't about sympathy. It is about the fact that innocent people have been convicted and killed by the government. You can't undo that.

And it costs far more taxpayer money to seek and carry out the death penalty than it does to house someone in prison for natural life.

The manner of death is not why it is more expensive than life without parole. It is the mandatory appeals that are required post death penalty conviction.

Not even a liberal. I don't have to support every conservative position, bro. I like to study each topic and come to an informed position - rather than supporting every liberal or conservative position solely based on my political ideology.

Of course the question is what do you do with someone like that besides kill them.

We could ship them to their own country in the middle of nowhere. We could call it "Australia"

And the cost of the initial trial. Capital cases are exponentially more expensive.

That too. Death penalty requires a separate trial than the initial guilty phase. But yet, I am the uninformed one.

No one said this. You can be as informed on it as you want and people will still disagree with your opinions.

Cost aside, I still think that there are cases that people undoubtedly deserve death and this is the epitome of that.

Would Tsarnaev have been caught if he had been wearing a disguise (sunglasses, different hair, etc.)? What do y'all think? The white hat and his face openly visible to all the cameras made it easy to identify him.

We all remember how incompetent the FBI and police were in capturing him.

Not his fault bro, you triggered him by saying something he didn't agree with.

For the record I find to be fellatio a humorless buzz kill, but you still shouldn't trigger him like that.

I agree with Artie Rome, we as a civilized country should not engage in putting anyone to death. Death is not our place in society to decide. Especially considering that the drugs required for the "humane" execution are increasingly hard to come by and several attempts have been botched as of late.

A .44 mag to the back of the skull is fool proof. You can buy the ammo at Wal-Mart. Problem solved.

Lastly, there is little the death penalty does to deter any type of terroristic or criminal behavior, so what the frick are we really doing here?

Serving fricking justice. You think it's fair that this psychotic piece of shite gets to suck air into his lungs while there are family members of victims that are haunted by the thoughts and memories of their loved ones being blown to pieces by this frick on American soil? How would you feel if it were your daughter standing at the finish line cheering you on as you crossed the line only to see her arms and legs blown off in the next instance? Im sure you wouldnt be so fricking generous and gratious in that moment, or do you think you'll be a politically correct count in that moment too?
