This is why Absolute is absolutely stupid: "HAD" = past tense.
"Paid" also = past tense.
"that would have been inevitably coming" = [bad grammar, but] future tense.
So this would have been avoided if, in the past, he paid an obligation that legally is not due [and the amount has not been and cannot now even be determined] until after the baby is born, paternity test is concluded, suit is filed to seek support, and a support award in a specific amount is awarded.
