I would avoid both of them like the plague. The 6.4 is definitely worse. It's a disposable temp motor. The 6.0 isn't bad if you work it hard and take care of it properly. Lots of failures are due to people treating them like old diesels: running shitty fuel, neglecting filter changes and maintenance, and using them only for 10 minute drives to work and back. If you run them like they're meant to be run they're not bad.
The 6.4 sucks and no matter how you drive it it's going to suck.
If I was in the market for a ford diesel a 6.7 would be the only ones Id look at.
