If you're gonna screw up, might as well go big.

Geauxjudge was a son of a bitch. He was a 10-foot tall beast of a man who showered in vodka and fed his baby shrimp scampi.

Geauxjudge may be despised and hated by the entire length and breadth of the Arkansas legal community, but, he is welcome to post here anytime.

His post history is wiped clean.
But Chicken was laughing all the way to the bank with this one. That all happened right around when he sold out and TD got all those terrible click bait ads.

The family of the woman who died, Martha Bull, filed a lawsuit late last year against Maggio, nursing home owner Michael Morton and lobbyist Gilbert Baker protesting the reduction of the award. A circuit court judge dismissed Maggio from the civil case last month, but not the other two defendants, saying Maggio had judicial immunity because he was acting in his official capacity as a judge.

How is taking a bribe "acting in an official capacity"?
Posted on 4/18/15 at 4:25 am to JudgeHolden
I doubt anyone will feel very sorry for him, but he is in an terrible position. He's 54 years old, dismissed from the bench in disgrace, and has lost his law license. And now he is likely headed to jail.
I don't defend the man's conduct. But that is an awful place to be.
It makes you wonder how someone gets to that place where they can take a bribe as a judge or share details of an adoption. Both are just profane acts. Does anyone know him? Has be always been someone who crossed the line and he just got caught, or is this something new?

Was he the one who relayed private adoption details for some celebrity?
Posted on 4/18/15 at 4:41 am to JudgeHolden
I remember reading that thread thinking who cares?
He was very proud of his adoption knowledge, got called on the details not really being available in the public records and tried to bully his way out of it.
But yep. He is in a tight spot with all his education and experience practicality worthless. Can probably only work as a paralegal for a Saul like attorney.

I've seen that happen with lawyers who get disbarred. It's a tough way to go.

Lol- I just read the article about him releasing the private adoption info on a "LSU Message Board"....I knew it was this site lol. It took a little longer search but I found an article that showed a screen cap of the O-T lounge lol
