Nebraska spring game draws 76000+

Eclipsing the mark set last year by Alabama. What makes it even more impressive is that tickets to the game were $10-$15 a head whereas the Bama game was free admittance. Those Cornhusker fans certainly are loyal -- I'm sure this was a big change from what their new head coach experienced at Oregon St.

Found it. OSU had 95000+ at a spring game. Alabama had had 92000+.

Hmm, was unaware of that. Like I said, the biggest difference is that other schools have no entry fee yet Nebraska charges for it. I guess their fans just treat it like any other home game. Doesn't their sellout streak stretch back like 50 years?

As a Nebraska fan I'm looking forward to the changes and I think Riley is going to be a good fit for the program. Breath of fresh air that was needed.

Dont these people have something better to do on a nice spring saturday than watch a football practice?

Nebraska had quite a few RBs who looked good -- their QB situation is shaky though.

340 consecutive sellouts going back to 1962. GBR

Tommy Armstrong is putrid.

That's a quick way to turn a cool $1M.

They'll still be a sub-par team in the Big10

OSU is charging $15 for good seats and $5 for everyone else.
I am flying in to hang out with the boys, and if the rain isn't awful, I'll be going for $5

Bama didn't set any mark last year. We did pretty much fill the stadium in 2007 when Saban first got here. No one was expecting anywhere close to that many people to come.
