quote:
"As swift as the wind he rides, and behind him his khalasar covers the earth, men without number, with arakhs shining in their hands like blades of razor grass. Fierce as a storm this prince will be. His enemies will tremble before him, and their wives will weep tears of blood and rend their flesh in grief. The bells in his hair will sing his coming, and the milk men in the stone tents will fear his name." The old woman trembled and looked at Dany almost as if she were afraid. "The prince is riding, and he shall be the stallion who mounts the world." - A Game of Thrones, Chapter 46
what old woman said that? the witch doctor lady?
quote:

can anybody explain what this means?
For all we know, the Stallion that mounts the world could be the son of Dany and Jon. I know a lot of you don't like the idea of those two being together but I think they could rule together as king and queen and be great.

This is the type of stuff that gets posted in the middle ground thread?
IMO, This should not be posted in the middle ground thread.
Ok, this seems borderline close. I won't protest.

That is a good theory but Jon only goes for red heads.

As long as the info doesn't come from beyond where the show is, you should be fine. I put away the block, you can relax.

I think it's going to be one of those things where they meet and know they shouldn't be together because they come from opposing sides...like him and Ygritte.

Fire crotch = dragon fire
Jon would be all over his Aunt Danarys

Okay. Dany supposedly can't have children after the witch delivered her stillborn child. It's not talked about on the show, but it's been a running thing since book one.

Which clears Jon of his vow
"Shall bear no children"

I think it's gonna be love at first sight...like two other star crossed lovers
quote:-Romeo
“Oh, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!
It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night
Like a rich jewel in an Ethiope’s ear,
Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear.
So shows a snowy dove trooping with crows
As yonder lady o'er her fellows shows.
The measure done, I’ll watch her place of stand,
And, touching hers, make blessèd my rude hand.
Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight!
For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night.

Mmmm gotta love that Targaryn incest
Forreal though it would be really interesting either way just to see Dany and Jon Snow together on the show. Just them interacting would make my head explode, because they just seem to be in two completely different universes

I don't think the Sam Loophole would go over very well.

In the end of the whole thing, I think there will be a pretty big restructuring of things in westeros. His vows might not mean shite

Those bar wenches weren't going to frick themselves. As King, Robert had a duty to the realm.

The Oberyn possibly poisoned Tywin theory? All of the hints to it have pretty clearly occurred in the frame of the show considering both are dead and gone. In the books, which would've been early this season, Tywin's body on the slab is deteriorating at a quicker rate than usual. They just didn't expand on it in the show. That's definitely within the scope of the show and books to this point.

That comes back to what Mirri Maz Duur said.
I'm pretty sure she said it on the show as well, but here's the book quote for those that are curious:
quote:
"When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east," said Mirri Maz Duur. "When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then he will return, and not before."
