Disclaimer: I'm not an attorney. But have worked a lot in them, mostly in WC.
Most have adopted the rules of the U.S. Court, but your case will be heard before a tribal judge. He is appointed by the tribe. Jurisdiction is solely his at the trial level. Good news is that on appeal, jurisdiction goes back to Appellate Courts.
Oh, and obligatory they frown upon white eyes who argue case with forked tongue.

Yeah, I've been reading their different codes and procedures and whatnot. It's pretty cool.

Just talked to my boss about enrolling him and he laughed and told me I'm enrolling and to have fun with that
