He was talking about getting the bonus check back from AS (that's All State, btw (that's "by the way)). I know you read the previous page. Good lord, talking to you is like conversing with a four year old.
Damn you are a mad little dude.
I didnt read the page...I went to my posts and saw someone had replied to me and viewed the reply only.

Linclon commercials with Matthew McConaughey.
This. Forever this. I watch these in disbelief and I'm pretty sure I always involuntarily ask "why?" aloud.

The biggest problem with that commercial is that a women being a good driver does nothing to contradict the statement that men are superior drivers.
The biggest problem with that commercial is that at no point does he say "WTF babe? Why do you sound like President Palmer?"

I don't like the Buick one someone mentioned above with the wife and husband spying out the window at the neighbors.
It makes the wife look like a raging whore.
"Lucky for HER"(because she sees the guy getting out)
frick you, harlot.
There's an ongoing debate about that commercial.
Some people think that comment is her slamming her husband for not making enough money.
Buick isn’t the only automaker to play the prosperity angle.
These folks do too much analyzing & nowhere, near enough hating:
Here's a discussion about it where people are hating it either way.
quote:
Really sick of this commercial. The woman's obvious dissatisfaction with her own life/husband/home is beyond annoying. I get that people always want more but she is standing in a huge house while acting like her life isn't good enough. Why promote materialism?
quote:
Totally spoiled. Jealous. Selfish. Its a material world. Buick should be embarrassed!
quote:
So sick of this type of acceptable sexism for women. The woman biting her lip when she sees "Mr. Garcia" is such an enraging double-standard, and a great example of the current mindset that the feminist movement has brainwashed into the general public whereas it's perfectly acceptable for the dissatisfied woman to lust after Mrs. Garcia's sexy, money-making husband. Can just imagine if the roles were reversed and the guy with the binoculars was biting his lip over a well-off and sexy Mrs. Garcia...you can bet the feminists would have something to say about that. Bad form, Buick!(somebody watches Fox News)
quote:
The "Good for her" line makes me feel that Buick doesn't understand the role of women in the modern world. If Mr. Garcia were to get a raise, is that because his wife supported him as a home maker well enough that he was able to achieve success? Or, did she do nothing - She just lucked out to have a successful husband? Why should we be congratulating Mrs. Garcia for this? Shouldn't we save congratulations for her individual accomplishments - not those of her husband's?
quote:
For me the subtext of this ad is that she'd prefer to be SLEEPING WITH the other guy. For me, there is a clear SEXUAL subtext here. Yes, ostensibly it's about the raise the neighbor has received, but in reality the way she gazes at and talks about the handsome neighbor suggests sexual desire. If a male viewer identifies with the husband (as opposed to the neighbor), this ad is actually EMASCULATING. Said viewer feels he is being CUCKOLDED.

The fricking "breath easies" on 106.1 and whatever other radio stations talking or "singing" about smoking in the house or vacuuming the floor

That's the way I took it. I can't beleive there isn't more mention of the fact he just happens to have binoculars right by the window to check the Garcia's next door

When is that "Jake, from State Farm" commercial going to fricking die?
see the thing about this commercial is most think the wife is being a total bitch. While I agree from the looks of her she does seem like a miserable count, but in her defense who in the frick is on the phone with their insurance guy at that hour and talking like a total creep? "Really?......You'd do that for me" I don't blame her for being suspicious.

I don't think there is any doubt the husband has a history of infidelity....she is fed up.

Is there some unwritten rule that Insurance Companies must have shitty commercials?
Someone mentioned the Liberty Mutual one with "News flash, no one's perfect"
What about the one with the crazy bitch that names her car Brad? "you loved Brad, and then you totaled him". No wonder you can't keep a man or a steady job you crazy bitch if you name your car, not to mention referring to yourself in the 2nd person. The boyfriend in the All-State commercial should introduce his condescending girlfriend to this crazy bitch.

It is imperative that I get a gif of the overzealous black man freaking out in the wayfair.com commercial

I'll now add the taco bell breakfast commercial where the fat, hipster douche tell us the biscuit taco is as good as momma's cooking.

Yeah, I agree. Clearly the wife sucks, but the dude is a complete idiot and a bit of a creep in his own right.
And let's not forget that she turns on the lights, so he was doing all of the stuff you mentioned...standing in his living room in the dark in the middle of the night. What a weirdo.
And I always want to punch Jake for the way he says "Kheyaaakees."

Clearly, they were 2 homos having phone sex while the State Farm guy is at work.
State Farm guy covered nicely for the hubby.

I want to nominate this fat shite once again because he keeps popping up.He seems like the type of slob who's mom gave him a cold pop tart every morning so that's likely why he compares it to momma's cooking. I have an urge to punch him right in the fricking face when he says "this is as good....wait no better than mamma's cooking" Bitch

This recent Taco Bell commercial showing 2 little kids FREAKING opening a video game console for Christmas in the 90's and then again as adults FREAKING OUT over opening Taco Bell quesadillas or whatever is EXTREMELY annoying. Those kids need to be bitch slapped.
