i was there... my junior year
we're not no 240 to center lol... last time we had numbers up before Katrina it was like 330 to each foul pole, 395 to left center gap, 370 to right center gap, and 325 to dead center
we rebuilt the fences after Katrina so we brought them in like 4 feet all the way around and made them higher. if i were our AD i would have said nope to making them higher bc i enjoy the long ball and the fact that we had fans tailgating for free in right field if they had pickup trucks. i loved the atmosphere that created and our current coach Barwick took it away. Win district like we are right now and be a factor in the playoffs and i'll get over it

lol the stats say otherwise... they averaged 8 runs a game in that playoff run...
but guys like him are the reason we have best two out of three series now in the 5A and now 4A playoffs...

I was 10 when you started posting on here so don't think I hit any bombs off of you. But we did play at Belle Chasse in the playoffs my sophomore year and won in extra innings. Benches cleared in 1st. Players from both teams ejected. Fun but super intense game.
