I could understand if he was in his prime and was wanting to leave to play in UCL... But IMO, he owes the club and manager better than that.. because at his age, he wouldn't have had the opportunities to show his talent, more than what BR (LFC) has given him...

But I realize that's not the way things work...

He's getting bad advice IMO..

I do agree that we need to stop the wb experiment and play him more in the front three... But maybe that's BRs way of showing him he's not bigger than the club... I dunno..

He isn't irreplaceable, and if Man City wants to offer a bomb for him, take it and give Ibe and Markovic the opportunities..

exactly....

Sterling is a good player, and he CAN be an asset, but he hasn't exactly lit the world on fire, especially without a great striker taking a lot of attention off him like last season with Suarez

Agreed. I would love for him to stay, but he will by no means cripple us. Especially with that English upcharge. You can bet if City come calling we're going to milk them for every penny too.

But in an in-depth TV discussion that Liverpool knew nothing about until shortly before it was aired the 20-year-old admitted that it was 'quite flattering' to be linked to Arsenal – who Liverpool face on Saturday in the Barclays Premier League – and that he used to dream of playing abroad.
