gays and women wouldn't be for this

I think the majority of homosexual men would.

Obama also brought out a record number of black and other minority voters. They make up much more of the population than gay people.
It's an apples and oranges comparison on your part.

I don't assume that for a gay to be elected that he/she needs a ton of gay people to put them in office. Most of Obama's voters were white. And It's not like gays make up a huge percentage of the Houston population.
I think a little more goes into the equation of determining whether or not to vote for a candidate than merely their sexual preference or race.

Isn't the rumor that Obama was fond of gay bath houses in Chicago?

You think that way because it would benefit them but they would not, they are way too liberal.

Of course since most of the population is white. The difference boiled down to him carrying something like over 90% of the minority vote.

I think it boiled down to the outgoing two-term president with dismal approval ratings. Also, Mexicans and Asians aren't black.
Say Rubio wins the Republican nomination and merely splits the Latino vote in the general election, but manages to win. Is it not conceivable that a minority could win an election without the unyielding support of their own group? A gay can't win a national election without the gay voting populace suddenly expanding tenfold? Like I said, a little more goes into the equation than people just voting for their own kind, or guilt for that matter.

They prioritize a single issue. That doesn't make them liberal.

Look, you aren't going to change your line of thinking on it and I am not going to change mine. Agree to disagree as I don't care to argue with you about it.
Maybe one day one of your kind will win. Good luck!

You can't take an obvious joke and I'm the simpleton?
ETA: FYI, living in Houston doesn't magically afford you some sort of enlightenment that people from smaller cities and towns aren't able to grasp. Get off your high horse.

JFK certainly wasn't gay but you know he was the type to have been involved in a few MMF threesomes in his day

Everyone else just pretends to accept gay lifestyle to appear progressive but in a voting booth in private they wouldn't have to do that. No way one would ever win.
Just like everyone pretends to not like black people and in a voting booth they wouldn't vote for a black presidential candidate?

Have you witnessed the last 7 years??????

Sure, I'll get off my "high horse" (from the high-brow, liberal utopia of Houston) of not assuming the only way a black can win an election is with black support, the only way a gay can win an election is with gay support, etc.
