I'm ok with waiting til brees hangs it up to find a replacement. We need to utilize every draft pick and every dollar to get players to help us win while Drew is here. After that I don't care if we suck for a few years. As saints fans, we know very well how it feels to be a bottom dweller. A few of those years after drew retires won't kill anyone.

I'll toss an LSU name out there- Mettenberger. Not because he's LSU, but because:
he can make every throw, and will need about 3 more years before you know if he can be a legit starter. He's shown some promise already. However, he may well be the odd man out if Tennessee drafts Mariotta... they will have to go with their high draft pick. And honestly, outside of mobility, I think Mettenberger has the edge in every other part (especially the arm).
If not Mett, then I expect it will be someone with a similar situation- in the league now, shows potential, ready to start in 3 years, but will be bumped by some unproven college QB with gaudy stats.
