I think these have been mentioned on here before. They seem too good to be true. A drinkable egg white that tastes good and is flavored? 26g of protein and no carbs/fat.
These would be perfect for me as I'm trying to get more protein in the morning, and something quick.
Anyone had theSe? Thoughts?

I just eat eggs.
But to get more protein in the morning I started doing plain greek yogurt in addition to whatever else I eat. I throw some almonds and maybe a few blueberries or whatever fruit I may have on hand, or just nothing. And a couple scoops of protein in water. Only a couple extra minutes to prepare (scoop yogurt in bowl, throw in whatever, scoop protein in shaker cup, water, shake, profit)

They look pretty amazing but they are hella expensive.

I'm okay with paying that price so long as they are legit.
That's exactly the kind of macros I need to go with my oatmeal of a morning, and it's as convenient as pouring a glass to drink, and allegedly tastes good.
You get two gallons for 64$. Which would be 32 servings, essentially $2/day.

Just go to the grocery store and get the liquid egg whites in the carton. I drink 2 cups every morning--not saying it tastes great, but it's quick and gets the job done.

10g of protein, no carbs only until i lift or run. Gotta stay in that fat burning zone. Usually lift at noon, so after my shake .... my first meal of the day isnt usually until 2:00 at the earliest.
As for OP, there are so many cheaper options and egg protein is a crap protein but you do you.

I'm not concerned about taste. As long as it doesn't make me want to throw up or upset my stomach the rest of the day.
So this works well for you?

Yep, I think it's around $4 for a carton and I get about 4 cups out of each I think, maybe slightly more.
It doesn't upset your stomach whatsoever though and is very filling when combined with oatmeal. I've been doing it for years and have gotten some really good gains from it. I just don't have the time in the mornings to cook and still get all the protein I need. The no cleanup aspect is pretty awesome as well.

Why are you so concerned about getting protein in the morning? Just eat when you get hungry or drink a shake.

It takes the body much longer to absorb egg protein. Whey protein absorbs much faster.

All that artificial flavoring and natural flavoring tho... Not worth it

That's not necessarily a bad thing. All a huge short spike in protein will do is increase nitrogen turnover. You can't really use much more protein than your body needs at any given time.
But there are a lot of weird discrepancies between weightlifting nutrition and results obtained from actual studies, though a lot of it is rooted in good science from a theoretical standpoint.

right. but it depends on the form of whey protein.
cottage cheese for example is a whey protein that breaks down slow. I stick to slower digesting proteins at night before I go to bed, like egg whites, beans, or cottage cheese. I've been doing a 1/2 cup black beans with 10 ounces of egg whites cooked on top of a cup of brown rice with salsa on top. plus a spinach salad with carrots a couple of hours before I go to bed.

Cottage cheese is mostly casein, thus making it slower digesting.
I'm curious about the taste, but it could be an easy way to get protein without cooking or making a shake.

They taste good. I've only had the chocolate, and it just tasted like chocolate milk. HOWEVER, I couldn't justify the cost, when I can go get a bunch more from the grocery store for cheap, and flavor it with fruit or something. Hell, most of the time, I just chug it out of the container. Also, be careful when ordering during the hotter months. They ship frozen, but it is partial thawed by the time it gets to you, and you are supposed to use within a certain time frame when thawed.

Maybe crap in regards to digestabitlity.
But the bioavailability is as high as whey so most if not all does get utilized even if its digested really slow. Which is fine at night

I have had the vanilla and chocolate, both are pretty good and you only drink a cup. Vanilla tastes like eggnog
