"He is a Good Boy"- Levi Petitt's parents

We've heard this one before?
LINK
Pathetic apology that writes as if these people have never left the homogenous enclaves their sons appear to reside in.
The fact that Levi couldnt own up to his own actions by writing his own apology as a man, shows that this "good boy" has a lot to growing up.
quote:
"As parents of Levi, we love him and care for him deeply. He made a horrible mistake, and will live with the consequences forever. However, we also know the depth of our son's character. He is a good boy, but what we saw in those videos is disgusting. While it may be difficult for those who only know Levi from the video to understand, we know his heart, and he is not a racist. We raised him to be loving and inclusive and we all remain surrounded by a diverse, close-knit group of friends.
We were as shocked and saddened by this news as anyone. Of course, we are sad for our son – but more importantly, we apologize to the community he has hurt. We would also like to apologize to the – entire African American community, University of Oklahoma student body and administration. Our family has the responsibility to apologize, and also to seek forgiveness and reconciliation. Our words will only go so far – as a family, we commit to following our words with deeds.
To our friends and family, thank you for your kind comments and prayers. They are very comforting in this difficult time.
We ask that the media and public please respect our family's privacy as we come together to heal and determine next steps."

There's a youtube video showing otherwise. prick parents and a prick son. maybe if he was a man and owned up to his stupid mistake it would go a little better.

The guy just needs to change his name and attend a new school.
Anyone from now on that googles his name to background him will find all this. It definitely won't help him get a job anytime soon

Now you know how it sounds, except multiply it times 1000 for a dindu who tried to murder a cop.

His parents passed up a golden opportunity to STFU

Very few racists admit they're racist. From my perspective it's generally because they may not be vehemently racist as older generations of their families. For instance, my grandmother was a racist. God rest her soul, but she actually viewed herself as a something of a progressive. Now she wasn't nearly as racist as, say, her grandparents, but in a vacuum, she undoubtably was.

This good boy said something mean and extremely hurtful and degrading.
Bunch of other good boys arm robbed someone before and attacked a cop.
Same difference I guess

All nascar drivers are definetly the most racist. They can race faster than a fart in a hurricane.

Let's crucify him!!!!!!!
All the in-your-face outraged SJWs are so disgusting about pushing this stupid shite to the forefront of discussions that it polarizes issues and basically forces simple folks who otherwise wouldn't, and shouldn't, give a rat's arse about this kind of stuff to pick a side.

Wasn't the entire bus singing and chanting the slurs? Why do we only care about the few unlucky ones who happened to be in camera view?

Link to his gofundme? What he said was dumb but he is getting fricked for speaking his mind and that is just as fricked.

Because ruining one life is a tangible, attainable objective for these people, as opposed to just shaking their heads and moving on with their day.

What the masses have done to this boy is disgusting. Sure he should have been reprimanded and deserved being kicked out of the university. But something is really wrong with all of you getting enjoyment out of this kids ruined life. If you get enjoyment out of this I hope someone documents you at your worst and uses it to it ruin your life even if it is a 11 second snapshot judgement upon your entire existence.
Seriously empathy and compassion is the only thing that can heal. All of this social justice will only divide and cause more violence and destruction. What's wrong with everyone in this thread?
