The only way I can communicate with you is through the written word.
That's a problem because you don't read well.

No one doubts Les's recruiting chops. What is called into question, however, is his ability to develop talent.
As evidenced by the massive exodus of underclassmen to the NFL right?

Les Miles has his players absolutely developed and NFL ready. He runs a tremendous program.
His main struggle is since 2008 he has handled the QB position with absolutely no confidence and his entire offensive philosophy has taken a change.

Effective? I'm sorry but jl and JJ combined to go undefeated in the sec. I'd say that is effective
JJ and JL did not go undefeated in even one game; the team did that. According to your point every player's effectiveness is determined by his team's record. So...
Manziel clearly wasn't effective enough to win the Heisman
Karnell Hatcher was effective
Marshal Faulk was a dog
DJ Welter was about as effective as JFF
The fact is that JJ and JL sucked. Lucky for them, they played on a team that was so good on defense and special teams that they won.

I'm pretty sure majority of the players who started were Saban guys
Les did pick up some guys that Saban did not have locked up during that hectic January of 2005. However, all of the recruits from 2003 and 2004 and the majority of the '05 recruits were from Saban. That would have accounted for the majority of starters, although when you do a full review, there were a lot of LM guys; Perrilloux, Williams, Scott, Lafell, etc. who were huge contributors in '07. The two-deep was a virtual split of Saban and Miles guys.

Defensive MVP was a Miles RECRUIT!

It doesnt matter. Every single player on the 07 roster spent more time under Miles than saban.
Posted on 3/2/15 at 3:40 pm to ourkansastigah
does it really matter anymore?

Because jlee led the sec in passing efficiency in 2011 dumbass. And jj had a higher qb rating than jlee.
Jj 2011 6 tds 1int, 61% compl 137.6 qb rating

To have a top 5 win% in sec history and the #1 ooc win % in sec history (100 games coached). He achieved these great #'s during the most successful era of sec football ever

Deathly afraid to turn the ball over.. to the point of handcuffing the quarterbacks severely.
He prefers to keep the game tight and win at the end now. He has even uttered this on the field. Or as he refers to it as "when it at the back end" Which is a nice idea, but I would prefer a more confidence from start to finish. Les will often save his best players for the back half.. which is a nice idea, but I prefer the mindset of getting a lead early and often.. and the players to have a confidence and trust that if they throw an INT or two.. that they are more than skilled enough to make it up in a hurry. I remember a game Winston threw like 3 or 4 ints and FSU still overcoming it at the end.. or even Nick Marshall having poor games early on but allowed to continue doing his thing and making up for it.
I like players being held accountable for their mistakes, but the QB position is somewhat different from a mental perspective. Our quarterbacks seem to be so afraid to make any mistake out there that it literally hinders their potential. As if they have to be absolutely perfect in the limited opportunities they have or throws they get. There needs to be better trust and confidence at this position. Period.

Wrong. The majority of players who started the 2008 BCSNG were NOT Saban recruits. 11 were Miles recruits and 11 were Sabans - all of whom sat on the bench for Saban and didn't play much...

It frustrates me that Miles did not stay with Harris the rest of the season, or give him another opportunity.
JT Barrett of Ohio St had a terrible game against a pathetic VT team at home as a RS Fr, he threw 3 INTs and they lost.. at home.. but he was allowed to continue on the season and put up heisman-like numbers until his ultimate injury... and they had a guy like Cordelle Jones behind him they could have went to.
Harris had one bad first start on the road against a top ranked opponent as a True Freshman and he never once saw the field again. Not once.. in a 5 game losing season. Even though the other QB didn't even do anything in the same game versus the same opponent and was below mediocre all season long.
Then Miles goes on to say, "Jennings was never benched"
Sumlin of a&m has a QB that starts the season looking like a heisman.. but then suspends him for his off the field behavior.. he then inserts his talented freshman who actually has a poor first start at home and nearly loses to an inferior team.. but what does he do? He sticks by him, because he has now made the decision to stand by him.. he goes as far as to actually say, "Kyle Allen is OUR guy" and this was once Kenny Hill was off his suspension. He made a decision at that point of the season to make the change and stick behind it. I would love for Miles to publicly get behind the more promising QB and stand behind him. To where even if he has a bad game, he will be in position to bounce back. Allow him to do his thing on the field and make plays. Those two programs stood behind their younger talented guys when all things seemed equal. I would prefer Miles to have given Harris another opportunity.. Especially against a team like a&m who has a super soft D and we had already dropped 4 games in the season. That would have been an opportunity to build something.. or even in the bowl game against a ND D that only had like 3 starters playing on D..
And this is all the way the coach is publicly saying that you will get playing time and opportunity.. You never once see the field. How can there ever be trust and confidence in any of these quarterbacks. That has to be difficult. We need better confidence and trust here.
I just want Miles to get the right guy ready and name him the guy ASAP.

I dont care if we have 140 yards of offense if we win and neither do the people that make decisions at lsu. The first question doesnt matter when you win like Miles.
