I have eaten many times at a Pakistani/Northern Indian place. Not as spicy as the southern Indian places. More meat and cream, less "beyond spicy dishes".
Butter or tandoori chicken, creamed spinach with potatoes, orange cream of wheat, chickpeas/tomatoes/parsley, goat stew, kidney beans in gravy and green eggs (basil?). Sop up that gravy with naan. Good stuff. Not a fan of the desserts.

back in the day, Keswani's in Uptown Square was one of my favorite places to eat
I knew the owner and would kill me some Indian food at 4am after partying at Fat Harry's , the Boot , the Sitting Duck, and ATII's
