UnderArmour buys Endomondo and MyFitnessPal...

They've been growing like crazy but I found these purchases interesting. Especially MyFitnessPal. They paid $475 million for 120 million users of the foremost free fitness and calorie counting app out there.
Any ideas about where you think this company wants to take themselves or the apps? I feel like they're a shooting star (don't own the stock though).

19 straight quarters of +20% growth
5 straight quarters of +30% growth
With these two additions, Under Armour now was the world's largest digital health and fitness community

MyFitnessPal was adding users at a pace of 65k users/day before this acquisition.
And Endomondo is the most popular digital fitness app in Europe, iirc
Both of these acquisitions compliment the "Connected FItness" arm of UA, who's staple right now is MapMyFItness, and UA's new social media platform "UA Record"
The company is getting some nice exposure right now with the NFL Combine as well

I thought they bought myfitnesspal like a year ago?

$475/120 = $3.95 acquisition cost per user. As long as they can generate profits to cover that and can keep a critical mass of customers, they will be fine.
