Not scared of being dead, only of the process in which i will die. I hope it's quick and unexpected.

I don't want to die, but I don't live in fear of it. I just hope that when I go it's fast.

No. I sometimes find myself looking forward to its sweet release.

I think about it a lot unfortunately. Its not death that scares me, its the thinking about the moment or two before I die when I'll know things are coming to an end. Just envisioning myself lying in a bed, seeing the world fade away, and knowing that its all over. I know that no matter how prepared I might be for that moment, I'll still be wanting to live.

That's the part that sometimes haunts me and even keeps me awake at night; but it also at times makes me want to drop what pointless crap I'm doing and go live life.

Death is unimportant. Eternity is important, and eternity is now.

No not at all. I can remember the first time I even thought about it was at the age of 23 just before the ground war in Desert Storm. I was sitting in my vehicle in position ready to go when it hit me Damn I could get killed. It's dumb to hear I know but just never had thought about it before, just remembered not being scared but not wanting to die so far away from home.

When I was younger and more religous eternal life in heaven terrified me. I just want to live a long happy life here and when its my time its my time.

Death means I, hopefully, will go to Heaven. Heck no I'm not afraid!

Hope I don't die soon though. I have more I want to accomplish.

No, I'm not particularly afraid of death. I'm 61; death is a growing presence in my life and besides, at my age one presumably has lived enough not to feel cheated in terms of longevity.

What I DO fear–and will strive to avoid–is outliving my capacity for enjoying and engaging in life, as happened to both my mother and father. That I will not submit to.

One of life's certainties, why fear it.
