They're late. First ones made it to the house today.

had 2 scouts circling my PM house Saturday while I was doing annual maintenance on my mowers. PMCA reports martins in the area since January, but those were the first I've seen Saturday.
fricking sparrows are all over my house though I hate those birds.

I was in ellick last week and didn't see any at that time...
cleaned out the martin house and as I was walking away from it, a starling flew into a hole with some straw in his beak!...

Saw one hen scout on a house up here on the lake Saturday.
I've had my four houses up for a week. To keep those starlings out instal the moon shape openings on the round holes as they can't get in. Mine have the new openings already. Starlings will Frick up a Martin house.

And, they're gone. Got a text from one of our members that a huge group was staging nearby. Ours were just flying around normally. None grouping on the wires like previous years. Not a one this morning by the house, nor did i see a single one on the drive to work.

Are they mostly yellow?
May want to try this site. It has the summer maps as well as identification guides.
