Ahh...that's where we disagree. I feel like wood working is so much quicker and forgiving.
I am thinking about building a utility trailer from scratch to get exactly what I want and I am not really looking forward to the metal work even though I have all the tools for it.

I find lumber much faster and more forgiving.
Metal isn't forgiving. You can hide poor work with lumber and with metal you can't.

It came on runners and as a prepackaged deal. The shell was built, delivered and then I finished the interior with a lot of help.

It looks good
We have Mormons where I live and some of them have a large shed building company. They build smaller cabins too but they are expensive.

That is about the size of my current apartment and it is fine now. I am single and I barely spend anytime there. If I had a live in gf or wife then no.

Yeah, my clutter is in a storage facility. I don't own a lot and don't need a lot of space. I hate cleaning (so does the wife) so a small space is easy to maintain. No one really entertains at the house anymore, we find a neutral site to do that.

You have Mormons, they have Amish, we have Jews that are section 8 slum lords

My brothers prefer wood too, but it's something I just never had a passion for.. I mean, I don't mind doing final trim type work, but that's about it.
