I haven't had any issues on PC with matchmaking but didn't in the beta either.

every review on steam is negative. people are PISSED about the DLC.

Since when has anyone on the Internet not been pissy. The makers of Evolve were perfectly upfront and honest about there DLC system. Shame on people for not paying attention to the product their purchasing.

Exactly, developers tell you up front what to expect, you buy anyways, then bitch about what you already knew and paid for?
People are idiots, all there is to it.

not even worth the argument but people shouldnt have to research a frikkin video game to find out if theyre getting the FULL game for the same FULL price as every other game that has come out. Then again, by doing so myself i was able to decide im not paying $100+ to have a game with all its content at launch.

Making purchases, especially for entertainment should always be fully researched, ceterus paribus. A producer has every right to sell their content how they see fit. It is the job of the consumer to make a rational decision. If your not making rating nap decisions, you're failing the producers and other consumers.
I'm renting this. Would never buy it, dlc or no. And I know for me, I'll have just as much fun as with dlc or not.

I started playing the other day. I enjoy it. It's different.
And the whole DLC thing was different than what I thought initially. It is all cosmetic skins.

Right. Makes no sense.
Just like League of Legends where every champion has skins you buy, but you don't have to and they are only cosmetic.

What's the character you prefer to play with (besides monster)?
I've been playing the most as suppport. Calbot's rail gun and damage multiplier is nice.

Does it support cross-platform play? That is, can I on my PC play with my friend who is on his X-box?

So what does the Monster do while he's BEING a Monster?
Does he get a headstart? What does he get if he "wins" and HOW does he "win"?
I feel like all I'd want to be is the Monster.

Hunters start out in a dropship and have a small convo before dropping in, while monster starts out on the ground. End up being about a 30 second head start, so monster needs to immediately put space between it and the hunters. Both hunter and monsters level up skills, win or lose, depending on damage dealt. I like to play as either assault of medic, with support being third choice. Haven't played much as monster because if you are playing with friends in a party, you can't be a monster. Have had fun playing, call name is earlier in this thread, add me, and let's kill some monsters

Stays hidden and feeds on the creatures around the map to gain XP and Evolve to stage 2 and then stage 3. If you evolve to stage 3 you're going to win almost always.

Fun game but frick 2k. Played it this weekend and ranked up to 17. Get on this week and reset to 1 with just the starting characters. Now I'm back to level 4 and the damn thing stopped leveling. What a shite show

Borrowed this from a friend and it's pretty fun, kicking arse as the medic.

Well, looks like this game had some staying power...
