Glock Behind the S&W/FN Curve (Update in OP)

Here's there attempt at a Glock "CORE" model, called the MOS:
Glock MOS
So why did they not put raised sights on it to allow cowitness?
And why have they still not released a single stack 9mm version?
EDIT: I understand FN was the first one to offer a milled slide. Plus their threaded barrel included with it is superior to both the MOS and the CORE.
EDIT2:
Glock 19 TB (threaded barrel) with suppressor sights
He mentions in the article the lack of suppressor sights on the MOS as well. I see I'm not the only one who noticed it.

No one ever claimed they don't work. I just wonder if they have a drunk working at their R&D dept.

Figured out pretty quick this place is a house divided when it comes to this subject.
I've owned one Glock and I mean if functioned ok I just wasn't that impressed. So I guess I'm on that side of the fence

Yeller
Like I said, has little do to with the gun. It has to do with the thought process behind this gun.
If you're gonna mill a slide for a reflex sight, you should do something extra like:
1. Raise the sights to cowitness through the optic
2. Add porting or a compensator for competition
3. Include a threaded barrel for a suppressor
Glock did none of these things. Why are the iron sights even on the gun still if you can't use them with an optic mounted? Just extremely stupid...

What if one were to own a Glock 40 cal.

Well, 40 cal is pretty pointless and 10 mm is ballistically superior to any other semi-auto pistol round so not really sure what your point is.

On a pistol? No thanks. Raise them for a suppressor, but not cowitness.

Storm Lake or Wolf got this covered. If you're serious enough for a suppressor, you need a non shite barrel anyways.

They are later than everyone else, but IMO it's due to the demand on their current products. It's my understanding Glock had/has trouble keeping up with current production demands.

I was told there will be one in 2015
